What is energy security and why is it integral to the national security? Tell us by participating in the Youth Essay Contest!
We give you a little hint: energy is important for successful economy – a well-functioning economic sector requires a reliable, sustainable, and safe energy sector.
So, on a Word document, share with us your thoughts about the following:
- Ukraine’s energy security: what does it mean?
- Why is strengthening Ukraine’s energy security vital to the country and you?
- How can you support the country’s energy security?
Please pay attention to these requirements for the Youth Essay Contest by the USAID Energy Security Project:
- Ukrainian citizenship; age between 14 and 22 years old at the time of the submission of the essay.
- What we expect: An essay in Word from 1,500 to 2,500 characters (1-1,5 printed pages) in Ukrainian, expressing your opinion.
- Submit your essay to essayforcontest@tetratech.com , adding “Essay by Name, Surname, oblast” in the subject line.
- The submission deadline is October 15, 2023, 6 pm Kyiv time.
And, if you’ve read through the end of this announcement, we are excited to share with you that the winners will receive awards, which include mobile phones, tablets, power banks, etc.
