The USAID Energy Security Project (ESP), jointly with the Ministry of Territories and Communities Development of Ukraine, implements the Program helping municipal stakeholders implement reforms aimed at technical optimization, higher economic efficiency, and the environmental sustainability of heat supply systems.
The Program aims to help the cities reduce energy consumption and technological losses along the whole heat supply chain, mitigate any adverse environmental effects, and end up with a more reliable, safer, and better quality heat supply system. In the end, this will result in residents getting qualitatively better heat supply services at a transparent and fair cost.
Within the Program, the USAID ESP partners with 10 Ukrainian cities, helping them to develop new district heating schemes and investment plans to modernize their heating networks.
Our Municipal Program Progress Tracker aims to keep you updated on how the USAID ESP and its partner cities progress with the Program implementation, focusing on the key achievements. The Progress Tracker provides potential investors with updates regarding municipal investment opportunities.
The Program will also help the cities reduce energy consumption and technological losses along the whole heat supply chain, mitigate any adverse environmental effects, and end up with a more reliable, safer, and better quality heat supply system. It will result in residents getting qualitatively better heat supply services at a transparent and fair cost.
