Capacity-building grants for amalgamated territorial communities already engaged or interested in assessing or addressing clean energy issues

USAID Energy Security Project (ESP), implemented by Tetra Tech ES, Inc. (Tetra Tech), solicits applications for capacity-building grants from amalgamated territorial communities already engaged or interested in assessing or addressing clean energy issues. Clean energy is energy derived from renewable, zero-emissions sources (“renewables”), as well as energy saved through energy efficiency (“EE”) measures.

The grants’ objective is to increase the capacities of the amalgamated territorial communities. Specifically, the amalgamated territorial communities which have a need and express interest to increase their ability to use approaches, processes, strategies, or methodologies to mitigate climate change, promote the clean energy sector, protect the environment, etc. The grants will address general institutional capacity improvements in the amalgamated territorial communities, which will help them to engage successfully in the clean energy sector activities.

This grant will be awarded and implemented in accordance with USAID and U.S. Government regulations governing grants under contracts, as well as the ESP internal grant management policies. ESP/USAID reserves the right to fund any or none of the applications submitted.
